The cloud - can't log in

The cloud - can't log in

Swapped over to a 3gs last week. On Saturday I was out and about and popped into McDonalds to register the new phone with The Cloud as I know it takes a while to switch . I got an error message (internal error or similar). Oh well , I thought, I'll try again later. Just tried again and got same thing. Tried calling O2 but they said to call back in two hours as they were having problems so could not even listen to my question. Is it working normally for everyone else?

Text 'WiFi' to 2121 and it will allow you to sign in with a new device.

When you register for the first time your phone number is recorded against the MAC address of the iPhone. Texting WiFi to 2121 allows you to do this with a new device.

On my 3G it never did it, but I find now that if you want to connect to wifi networks where you have to authenticate in some way, then rather than loading up Safari after connecting you should remain on the WiFi setup page - after clicking on the network and waiting a few secs sometimes the authentication page pops up and you complete the process before hitting Safari. Good luck

tried it all ways, still no good. The post above looks hopeful, txted the number and got a reply telling my I could use it in an hour or so ( I seem to remember that being the message I got last time when I changed my phone,albeit at the time when I tried to log in to The Cloud)

I've had this problem recently with my new 3gs. Texted wifi to 2121 and still doesnt work. Going to ring O2 at some point to try and sort out.
