Question about Apple Store

I want to return my second 3gs to o2 online due to a bad contrast/yellow screen issue. I have had 2 phones the same. Compared to my hubbys 3gs its terrible.

Anyway if I return the phone to o2 and cancel the contract, can I buy an iphone from the apple store with a contract or do they only sell PAYG versions?

If I find an apple store with any in stock do you think I can check a phone whilst I am there. I am fed up looking at my yellow fuzzy screen to the extent I want to throw it in the bin

Re: Question about Apple Store

All iPhone contracts, regardless of where you buy the phone from, are administered by O2.
My suggestion would be to book a genius appointment at your local Apple store and get them to look at it. If they agree there is something wrong with it they will swap it there and then.

Re: Question about Apple Store

If you take it back to an o2 store they will send it off and chances are you will get a brand new one. Thats what they did with my 3G. Not sure if you can cancel your contract maybe if you have had it less then 14 days. If you just want your money back try searching for the sales of goods act. I'm sure there is something in their regarding faulty returns. I think you maybe able to demand your money back rather then an exchange if that is what you decide.

Thanks but apple told me over the phone they won't replace and will only repair and it's best if I send it back to 02. That's what they said about my first one a week ago. I have the phone nearly 2 weeks now do time is running out.

Re: Question about Apple Store

I've had two 3GS phones replaced already.

Swapped my old for new at the Apple store with very little hassle.

Re: Question about Apple Store

Dont listen to anyone over the phone etc, book an appointment at the genius bar at your nearest Apple store, like the others say,, i took my 3G phone tthere and they are brilliant guys, the 1st thing they check is if its had water integration , once they are happy it hasn't they'll give you all the time in the world,,

face to face is allot better,

02 have a life time of phobbing customers off like other mobile companies,,

apple are second to none when it comes to treating its customers right,,,,,

good luck
