Does anyone know where i can get a tvout cable so that i can watch the slingplayer on my tv via the iphone? useful for when im away for home and want to watch on a slightly bigger screen

HI, sorry i should have been a little clearer, i was looking for an unoffical version, probably of ebay that is a lot cheaper than £35. Apparently you have to be careful about the leads that you buy.

Got my component and composite ones from Amazon :

IPHONE 3G / IPOD COMPOSITE AV USB CABLE WITH DOCK: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

The composite was a bargain (I thought) for £9 with free shipping. Got this for when I'm travelling as most TV's will have this input.

The component works out about £18 with postage. Got this for home for the superior picture quality.

By the way, the composite has the "not designed to work with iPhone" thing where it tries to put it in airplane mode but it plays with a bit of fiddling.

I don't think you can use TV out with the slingplayer app, just iPod videos.

iPod / iPhone TV out cables only work with Photos and iPod Video. But if jailbroken there are a couple of apps that support full TV out function. TVout and ScreenSplitr both available from BigBoss repo on Cydia.

That's pretty awesome. Shame it's a seperate subscription though, I was hoping an iPhone version of the Sky Player would come along
