iPhone, Gear4 Bluphone & Toys r Us in Brighton

Hi good people, I am after a huge favour from someone who lives near the Toys r Us store on the old shoreham road in Brighton.

I have been after a pair of gear4 bluphone headsets since they were recommended om this forum, I have called all of the toys r us stores within a 100 miles radius and finally found a pair at the Brighton store.

The problem I now have is that the store will not accept payment over the phone and then send them to me.

Is there anyone on here that (lives near the Brighton store) would do me a huge HUGE favour and go in to the store and pick the headphones up and post them to me, obviously I will pay for the item, the p&p and a beer on top.

These seem to be the last pair available anywhere near me and they have been reserved.

I know that I am asking a huge favour but if there is anyone out there I would greatly appreciate it, many many thanks Jerry.

Last time I dealt with Toys R Us they were happy to transfer stock between stores so I could pick up a hard to find item at a local store.

Have you asked that store or the TRU head office to do that for you ?.

Yes i did ask the Brighton store and they said that a store to store stock movement would take 6 weeks as it had to go via head office, and they would not be able to do it for one small item.

I got the impression that they were fobbing me off, although i can not be 100% sure.

They were definitely making that up.

I used to get stock moved around and it took about 7 days.

Personally if they cant offer customer service, I would take my £ elsewhere and tell head office why.

Have you got vouchers for Toys r Us?

Can you not just order online from someone else?

It would appear ToysRus are selling them pretty cheaply. I saw £15 mentioned in another thread on here. Checked play.com and they are £45

Thanks to everyone that looked and or posted, after much tooing and frowing between a couple of TRU stores i have now managed to get them to transfer the stock from brighton to my local store which by all accounts will take between 2 and 5 weeks!!
