Safari bookmark problem

so i cant bookmark any webpage, if i press the Add Bookmark option, it takes me to the add home option. its very weird. I recently jailbroke with purplera1n so maybe thats the problem, however I would have thought more people would be having the same problems if the jailbreak was the problem. any help is greatly appreciated.
