Can You Disable Voicemail on 02

My contract is ending with Orange in Sept. and I will be joining 02 and will be getting an iPhone, Is it possible to completely disable the answerphone , and if so, is it done via the phone or will I have to ring 02 to disable it
Thanks
Mick

Dial 1760 and they'll switch it off for you. Dial 1750 to get it back.

One of the best things about the iPhone in my opinion is the visual voicemail. Its free on an iphone contract and you don't have to ring up and listen to all your messages. It lists them like texts so you can pick which ones to listen to and which ones just to get rid of!
