Hi there,

I've had my 3Gs for just over a week now and having come from a Blackberry there are a number of things I'd like to see in the next update.

1. When somebody has the number listed as +44 (0) 207.... I'd like it to be clever enough to work it out and ignore the (0) part so that when I click on it the call works.

2. When you click on a phone number, or an email address in an email I want the option to add it to a contact, save it as a new contact rather than automatically sending an email or offering to call that number.

3. I can change my ringtone to anything I want, why can't I create my own message tone or email tone (the default email tone is rubbish). Added to that, as more and more people get iPhones, when an email comes in you can see everyone reach for their phones to check for messagse.

4. When I set an alarm, why can't I wake up to my own music. Sure, thanks to 3.0 I can now buy an app to do it for me, but I need to remember to a) have the app running and b) have the phone plugged in. It would be so much easier to just have the option to choose a tune in the default alarm.

What other features would you guys like to see?

the only thing two things im gagging for is to be able to select a full song from the tunes in my ipod playlist and use as a ringtone, and id love to see the phone work out that when i turn the volume of a video / game / song down via the slider button i dont want my ringtone / message volume to be turned down at the same time. Im sick of turning the volume down on a youtube video and then missing calls because i forget to turn the volume back up - why not have volume for tones in the settings menu.

Although you can't wake up to a random selection of your music, it is very easy to make a "ringtone" that you could then use as an alarm sound.

What other features would you guys like to see?

1. Never been a problem for me as generally I get sent contact cards and the number is fine usually as it is. I love the way contact pictures are transferred to.

2. Again, it works in texts, why not emails - all they have to do is put the little arrow next to it and give you the option.. Can't be difficult

3. I have no idea why they haven'[t put this in yet (achievable via jailbroken phones though)./ Although I guess it's an update to itunes that has a message ringtone folder as well as normal ringtone folder section. They update iTunes, they update the iPhone, should be simple.

4. Is already achievable on non-jailbroken phones. I created my own ringtone, installed it on itunes, then it becomes available in the custom set when I set my alarm. I can set a different tune to wake up to everyday.
