How to remove delete APPS?.

Hello all, i have a 2g iphone that has been jailbroken and i have installed some apps using ICY that i would now like to remove. I have read that pressing and holding the icon until it shakes then pressing the X works but this is only true with APPS from itunes.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Install CyDelete within the cydia apps.
It allows you delete cydia apps from the desktop as you would with normal Apple apps.

Or the traditional way, in Cydia go to Manage-->Packages (or something like that)

But yes CyDelete makes things very easy

Thanks for the tips but i can't seem to open Cydia now!. It says that because ICY and CYDIA were installed at the same time it wont work?.
Any ideas?.
