Orange MMS Settings

After help from kind people on this forum I have entered the following settiings for MMS on Orange:

Cellular Data

APN - orangeinternet

Username - user

Password - pass

MMS

APN - orangemms

Username - Orange

Password - Multimedia

MMSC - http://mms.orange.co.uk

MMS Proxy - 192.168.224:8080

Unfortunately when I try to send a picture message it always fails. I would be grateful for any help/advice.

Paul, you're missing the .10 at the end of the IP address - Not sure if that's a typo of if you're actually missing that on your iPhone.

Hi,

The 10 is still in the wrong place it should be 192.168.224.10:8080 not 192.168.224:8080.10, if it is not set exactly then you will not be able to send mms's (and dont forgot to reboot the phone after changing it).

Re: Orange MMS Settings

I used all the settings described here, but couldn't mms on Orange UK until I phoned them and they enabled video messaging for my SIM, and sent the mms settings in a text (they don't support iPhones, but sent the HTC settings instead). I rebooted my iPhone and eureka.
