Corrupt Photos on iPhone after Sync

I have a iPhone 3G running OS3.0 and iTunes running 8.2 on Vista.

I have placed about 20 jpg photos in a new folder on the c:\ drive, chosen this folder through iTunes and it successfully syncs upto the iPhone. (no errors in iTunes)

When I go into the Photo App on the iPhone and show the Photo Library, all the thumbnails looks perfect, but when I show pictures in large mode, some of them are corrupt. They are like mixed up combined lines of one photo with another.

I have tried deleting the iPod Cache directory in my new folder and tried again, but some pics were fine and others became corrupt.

And obviously, the original photos in the c:\ drive folder are fine.

I've tried the Apple support forums and got nothing from there and no one has replied to my thread!

Any Ideas? Everything else syncs fine.

Re: Corrupt Photos on iPhone after Sync

Found someone sort of having the same problem: iPhone and iTunes not syncing some photos problem | JOEyGADGET

Their solution was to copy the files to an external USB drive (formatted as FAT32), but I tried it and still some of the pics were corrupt after a fresh sync (and delete of ipod cache directory).

mmmmmm, struggling here chaps!
