3Gs going back to store - faulty !!

Looks like my 3Gs is going back to Bluewater on Monday

The internal mic and speaker don't appear to work when receiving a
call ...

Bluetooth to my Jawbone works fine, the Apple in-ear mic/phone works
fine, the speakerphone works fine - bizarre ?? !!

Anyone had or heard of anything similar ?
