Re: 2G Iphone question

Upgrading to 3.0 and re-unlocking will take no time at all. You're missing out if you're not running 3.0 so it's worth the effort.

The 2G will always be jailbreak-able and unlockable, so even if you don't do it quite right first time, you're at no risk of permanently locking the phone.

Re: 2G Iphone question

Yes Bacus it will lock your handset again but as others of stated you can use the iClarified guide they have to unlock it again. It really is easy to do.

Are you really missing out if not on 3.0? This is a genuine question and not taking the mick

All i keep reading on here and Macrumors is that battery is awful on 3.0 and then jailbroken and unlocked. Currently i have jailbroken and unlocked with Pwnage, all i have installed in Cydia and i have never used that, the reports suspect that it is some Cydia installed programs that are affecting the battery usage.
