iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS

im planning to go out tomorrow and buy either the 3g or 3gs on payg
which one do you think i should go for?

i dont see the 3GS worth the extra money,
so would stick with the 3G and wait till next year june for the next iphone....

that depends on your financial position - if it doesnt matter which you buy from a money POV then go for the 3GS... may as well have the latest equipment imho.

plus - i can see as time goes on that certain apps (games in particular) will be optimised for the newer and more powerful hardware.

decisions decisions
i might just go for the 3gs, but depends if the stores are doing payg, otherwise ill get the 3g

or you can wait the 6month period and go for a refurbish 3GS,
the 2G and 3G both took around 6months...

this will save you money,

that is typical apple,
like i said before once the v4 or v5 iphone comes out,
apple will stop supporting the 2G, then the 3G will follow...

That makes sense if the hardware is different and the processors get more faster, you can't expect any company to keep on supporting old technology. Personally Apple are quite good at supporting products in the early years, like with the original OSX with OS9 originally integrated.

Also Apple gave the 3.0 software free, granted some off the features should have already been there, another company might have charged for this update.

very true,
while some companies might have charged for the updates,
other companies would have already had the features from day one....
