OS 3.0 spotlight shows deleted e-mails

as title really spotlight search finds deleted e-mails and sms messages maybe other things anyway to stop this??

dont really have anything super important to hide but rather anyone who picked up my phone not to be able to read my deleted sms messages or e-mails thats why i delete them.

also quite annoying dunno if its just me but when pressing home button to quit an app it keeps bringing up spotlight??

just another thought rather then making another post didnt we get told bluetooth file transfer would be included?

Sorry i didnt see the thread for problems with 3.0 below only. before i get slated.

Settings > General > Home > Search Results

With in here you can tick and untick which reaults you want to show. Then if you hold your finger on the right side (on the 3 lines) you can drag and drop them into what ever order you want them to show!

thanks for that good temp fix still not entirely happy they stay on ther though. what if i have to give my phone back due to a fault?

already had to do this once last firmware does that mean somewhere someone could see my e-mails if the phone has since been fixed and upgraded.

could have online banking passwords or anything in e-mails.

IN general / settings, there's a reset option where you can delete all data...you can also perform a hard reset that I believe clears everything also.

all very good but you dont know when your phone is going to fail or you are going to lose it/get it stolen.

i dont really use the e-mail on it anyway might just take it off and use webmail if i need to view/send e-mails.
