Outlook calendar syncing

Ok, I have just synced my work calendar from Microsoft outlook to my iphone.

My question is, as this is auto fetching just like my email will this massivley effect my battery life?

How often is this actually searching for new meetings/information to sync?

Re: Outlook calendar syncing

Mine only updates on the iphone when you open the calendar, it does not 'fetch'

Re: Outlook calendar syncing

Yeh, that is just an option.

I wanted it to fetch, but I am wonderin if this effects the battery much.

Pretty much when I set reminder on PC it alerts me on PC n iphone at same time. Comes in handy when in a meeting etc... and need to get out
