Hi Guys,

So I'm an o2 customer at then end of my contract. I've got a first gen 16gb iPod touch and I'm looking to upgrade to a 32gb.

So I'm thinking of getting a 32gb 3G S and that will solve my problem, but I have a plan and want to know if people think it will work?

I can upgrade and get 600 mins and 1200 texts for £19.58 per month on a 12 month contract - this includes a bolt-on (which I would choose unlimited web).

If I chose this upgrade and kept my phone, would I be able to purchase the new iPhone on PAYG for £500ish and be able to use my SIM? I assume if i have the web bolt on I'd be able to use the web on the iPhone? I don't need the access to WiFi that's bundled in as I get Cloud access through my work.

I've worked it out, although I'd pay a big bulk for the phone, I'd have more texts, less going out monthly and I'd save £130ish overall and be out of contract sooner.

But would it all work?

It sounds like the simplicity contract you are on about. Anyway, yes, any O2 sim/contract will work as you describe in any iphone, payg or contract!
