Importing contacts from my LG phone to iphone 3G ?

Hi,

Just preparing for my new ( 2nd hand

) 3G and wanted to double check the easiest way I can import my exisiting contacts to the iphone.

On the LG they are stored on the phone so under mum I have her home / mobile / email etc so can't be stored on the sim card.

In the past I would just bluetooth them all across, is this still the case ?

Oh and I haven't got any type of Outlook syncing software as use gmail as my mail client,

You have two ways of getting them on either sync them with an address book on your computer then sync your iPhone with that address book or put them on to the sim then copy from the sim to the iPhone.

gah that's rubbish, doesn't the iphone support bluetooth ?? All my other phones have in the past ?

When you say 'address book' is that something built into Vista or something ?

No it doesnt support bluetooth file transfer.

You should be able to sync your LG phonebook with your outlook address book in windows.

It's probably the iPhone's biggest bug-bear but you soon realise you didn't really use it that much anyway (or at least I did).
