Yep, loading the O2 contract mobileprofile enables USB and Bluetooth tethering from my XP laptop, with iphone using my existing contract SIM (not iPhone tarriff) with web bolt-on.

As the APN is wap.o2.co.uk, suppose o2 can't detect it...
