Iphone 3 and bluetooth

Hi All,

Just connected my iphone to my mac pro via bluetooth but after initially going through all the configuration and entering the passkey on the phone (so it must have connected somehow?) the phone now cannot be found by the computer and the bluetooth symbol on the phone isn't lighting up blue (although in settings it is saying it is turned on).

Anyone else having any more luck and am I right in thinking that even if they do connect that I wont be able to send a file via bluetooth?
