Question How do you access btopenzone and cloud?

I just discovered that contract iphone customers get access to btopenzone and the cloud. What is the username and password though?

With The Cloud you just type in your telehone number, and away you go.
(the only place I have used it is McDonalds, would imagine once done you can use it anywhere???)

When you open safari it should bring up a screen to enter your o2 number. On BTO if it doesn't select O2 from the provider/partner list and it will take you to it. No user/pwd needed only your number.

iPhone contracts and true iPhone PAYG sims ONLY.

Also available on other O2 deals, but these need a wi-fi bolt-on.

If not on O2, you can buy direct from BT: http://www.btopenzone.com/buy/

Re: How do you access btopenzone and cloud?

I went to the Isle of Wight the other week with work, and they had Openzone access in the hotel (along with a rubbish O2 signal where I was!) and I tried and tried logging in to Skype home and it wouldn't have it at all
To be honest Ive never had any success with Openzone, and I am a Pay monthly user too.

Re: How do you access btopenzone and cloud?

You generally have to go to a webpage first and that will prompt you to enter your phone number for verification of your eligibility to use the service - once that is done then your device's wifi MAC address is authorised and you are free to use the service. In some cases you only need to do this once and it will then remember that device "forever".

If you just turned on wifi and then fired up Skype without first authorising via safari then that is probably why you had trouble.
