Re: iPhone 3GS protection

theres a whole thread about cases and screen protectors but from what I can gather the invisible shield and the crystal protector are the two most popular.

I have the full body InvisibleSHIELD ready to go from day 1, and will probably purchase a case at a later date

Re: iPhone 3GS protection

I've picked up invisibleshields for BlackBerry Storms, iPod touches and iPhones from Amazon.co.uk and ebay.

Here's a link to the manufacturer's website

ZAGG | invisibleSHIELD | Apple iPhone 3G/3G S Cases, Screen Protectors, Covers, Shields, Skins, Invisible Shield

I found them fairly easy to apply for the iphone/ipod touch, but a nightmare for the Storm, as it came in so many pieces..around 13...iPhone i think is just 2 pieces of film

Re: iPhone 3GS protection

Actually the iphone invisble shield does have a few fiddly little bits... I just unpeeled one the other day that was coming off anyhow.

Next time, if there is a next time, I'll get Invisible Shield again, but only the bit for the front screen. The back section still has flaws and bubbles, and thinking about it, I don't care that much if the back gets scratched...

Re: iPhone 3GS protection

I have been using the invisibleShield for the last several months and find it does what it says on the tin, but I find the screen protector to be sort of sticky when sliding a finger across it. I mean it isn't as smooth as other protectors or the screen itself.

It is also fairly thick when compared with other protectors - and you feel it. I am on a mission to find a decent screen protector. Will try a Brando or Martin Shields.

Definately getting this though:
Griffin Technology: Reveal - Ultra-thin protection from bumps and scratches
New case from Griffin called the Reveal. Out in the UK at the end of the month.

Re: iPhone 3GS protection

I've had iphones from launch (2G and 3G) and got a protection sticky screen to protect it the first time round. This then started to peel off so I gave in a kept it without protection at all, including the 3G.

I have had them in my pocket with keys and change etc and I have no marks on the screen what so ever. There may be a couple of little scratches on the apple logo on the back, but I dont tend to look at that side of the phone much.

Re: iPhone 3GS protection

The 3GS is supposed to have a olephobic screen. Would this affect how well a screen protector adheres?

Is the Reveal a back only case?

Re: iPhone 3GS protection

Closing as we already have a thread about screen protectors and cases for the 3G and as the 3GS is the same size the same info applies.
