If you keep your finger on the item that you want to move on winterboard you will find that you can slide it up the board, just place it (user wallpaper) above the theme you are using and bob is your mothers brother.

Hope that helps

Actually, make sure your finger is to the right of the screen, where the 3 little lines are.Thats what you need to press to move the items up and down the list.

Re: The Cydia/ICY Applications Thread

I was trying to install fonts from Apple-News.fr on Cydia and would get a hash sum mismatch. Later investigation revealed that that repo for some unknown reason doesn't support Cydia anymore.

So I installed icy and the fonts can't be installed from there either, it says not found.

Also wasn't Icy to be discontinued, I remember there was a notice on Icy saying that and there will be a new app to use, but I can't remember the name.

Re: The Cydia/ICY Applications Thread

Anybody else tried Yourtube yet?

Basically does what mxtube does, enable dl'ing of vids from Youtube, but this is integrated into the Youtube app already on the iPhone.

Only downer is it costs $2, not a lot really and if you are happy to carry on with the free mxtube then save ya pennies.

So it uses the Youtube App? Just add the functionality of MXTube?

Re: The Cydia/ICY Applications Thread

Yeah, uses the Youtube app. Downloading of vids integrated in. Works very well.

I prefer it to using mxtube purely because you can sign in to your account to see your videos/favourites....and download them to the iPhone if you so wish.

Well worth the £1.40 or whatever $2 is these days.

Just bought it. I like the idea of having downloads integrated.

Re: The Cydia/ICY Applications Thread

Just in case anyone isn't sure how to download, select a vid to start it playing then just tap Done and tap the download icon top right.

You can put a Downloads tab as one of the selectable options at the bottom to access them.

Re: The Cydia/ICY Applications Thread

Hi Guys, im new to this thread although ive been reading all the pages!

I jailbroke my 1st generation iphone some 4 weeks ago with cydia, at this stage i wasnt aware of this forum! So a bit dark about the whole thing.

Ive now installed Buuf2 and i really like the icons, but why have some not changed like tic-tac-toe ? I have found Buuf2 iphone theme iphone wallpaper iphone applications iphone news iphone web applications iphone ringtones and and this icon is listed. Do i have to manually change each icon ?

Another question is: why do i have 2 dates and times at the top of my screen side by side ? Is one for a different time zone ?

Cheers and thanks for looking

Themes off cydia are the bare minimum and are never really complete with all icons. They'll have the stock icons and the main icons, winterboard, cydia etc but no others. You need to manually download the icons and add them to the theme.

EDIT: Im assuming you installed via cydia, if you did install the theme via SSH make sure the icon is named correctly. messages.png would not work, Messages.png would work etc.

Re: The Cydia/ICY Applications Thread

Ok do I have to download all the aps from Cydia on the iPhone, or can I download on the pc and install them from there afterwards?
I know I should maybe read the whole thread but 52 pages is a lot and I'm aready getting a headache trying to get my admittedly small brain round this whole jailbreak thing
Sorry if it's been answered elsewhere and I've missed it

Best to download apps such as cycorder and tweeks like 5 icon dock etc straight from cydia as they get updates like the app store. For weather widgets, lock screen themes, icons etc its best to use SSH to put them into your phone.

Anyoneelse have a problem with cycorder on 3gs, I just installed it from cydia and it won't open, when I tap the icon it opens momentarily then closes straight away. I've powered off and restarted but still the same.

I don't think cycorder works with the 3gs. Whether it ever will or not I don't know, but why would the developer bother when the 3gs already has a video recorder built

Re: The Cydia/ICY Applications Thread

I've got the apple fade theme and a lot of my Icons not changed? Can anyone give me any pointers where I go to look for custom icons, and how I go about installing them.

Thanks inadvance.
