Finally got round to having a play with Theming etc and got the attached lockscreen which is the Sense Widget i believe. Quite happy with it other than i would prefer to have a thin slider across the bottom if possible but not sure where to start or how to do it. Can anyone point me in the right direction please!! Ta!!

To install the widget, you need a jailbroken iPhone/iPod, with Cydia added
- Download the Widget, unzip it ans put the "Sense Widget Beta - eCAR.theme" folder by SSH in "/Library/Themes/"
- In Cydia, install "Winterboard", "LockScreen Clock Hide" and "file:// for MobileSafari"
- In Settings, scroll down to find Clock Hide and enable it
- In Safari, go to "file:///Library/Themes/Sense%20Widget%20-%20eCAR.theme/LockBackground.html" URL and setup the Widget
- In Winterboard, enable "Sense Widget Beta - eCAR" and respring

i'm using winscp and can't find the /library/themes folder anywhere!

Open winscp and connect to your phone. In the drop down box at the top click the arrow and you should see the option to select "root". Choose that and then you should see library in the list in the right hand pane - double click that and you should see the themes folder

Edit: I see you found it while i was typing

Are you finding the animated background is causing your phone to lag?

If not, what are you using!? Tried winterboard with HTML and vWallpaper. Winterboard is better, but not perfect.

Not much lag. I use WB. The animated matrix is HTML. All from the "twilight" theme on MMi

Hi Rob, its all from same theme. Its iNitsua Z Twilight on ModMyI (released on Cydia last night). So many mods in the thread inc almost all apps skinned 4 or 5 colour mods. Best theme i've seen or used mate. If you need any help just shout

Ok Rob, you need to add this repo to cydia sources. wim66's Repository - MyRepoSpace.com then once installed install wim66 widget pack

Thats full of little goodies inc the time/date on LS also the Status Bar clock/date but for that you need Make It Mine then create a blank space where the apple time is. PM me if you need any other help

The guys in the thread on MMYi make them for you, ppl ask for skewed icons.

If you use 5 Dock its named as far left/left/middle (doesnt need changing)/right/far right

Thanks for that - what i meant was once i have the skewed icons how do i get them on the phone?

I thought it would be a case of ssh'ing in to the phone, finding the relevant icon png file and replacing it with the png file of the skewed icon but when i tried that nothing happened - the icon stayed the same as before

Any ideas.

Cheers - appreciate the help - still a bit of a noob at this modding lark

Ah ok. It should change Derek. Are you naming the icons correctlyy when you SSH them into the theme ? If you're using iPhone 4 on 4.?.? they should be icon@2x (or sometimes Icon@2x etc). What icons are they and i'll check if you need ?

For iPod go to Folders/MobileMusicPlayer.app and name your iPod icon as icon-MediaPlayer@2x

As for camera go to Bundles/com.apple.mobileslideshow and name your camera icon as icon-Camera@2x

That should do it

can someone please help me with installing ninehd? i paid for it and have it selected in winterboard, but it seems as though only certain features of it are working. the only icon that has the ninehd border around it is the winterboard icon. the sbsettings drop down is the proper dropdown. the only background that changed was the text message background but the text bubbles are still round, not square. the sounds work. the wallpaper doesnt show up.its just really weird.

im comparing my screen to that of jase_winter back on page 2 of this thread and his looks completely different. im pretty new to this whole deal so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

To get you started down the right path, bring up SB settings, select the 'more' option to open the full app and you'll see a 'manage theme's' section, select ninhd one from there, respring and sbsettings should now be skinned.
