Good afternoon to All,

At the risk of repeating what may already have been mentioned, I am a little worried about my Jailbreak and Unlock.

Ok so I have bought a 16gb 3GS which was on Orange running firmware 3.1.2 and baseband 5.11.07, I used BlackRa1n to jailbreak and unlock.

Have I jumped the gun here? What is tethering and what are the implications of what I have done? Is there something bad about doing this or have am I worrying about nothing?

I am on T-Mobile and since the jailbreak and unlock I am having Wi-Fi connection issues. Basically, if I go to settings>wi-fi>turn on wi-fi, the Choose a Network option searches but never brings up my home wi-fi, even though it previously remembered it. I have to hard reset the network settings to get it working again.

This is a pain, asI have to redo all my cellular settings again for t-mobile.

Is something wrong? Did I miss something when I unlocked it?
