Hi

My iPhone 3GS has been jailbroken (still on 3.0 OS) but I've not done anything with the baseband so it's still locked to O2.

Now that O2 have officially started unlocking iPhones for free, can I simply sign up and follow their instructions (receive sms, put in new network sim, sync to itunes) to unlock, or is something going to go wrong? I'm not sure how independent jailbreaking and unlock are.
