Phone always going into recovery mode after jailbreak

Hi All

A bit wierd I jailbroke my iPhone with blackra1n but now it always seems to want to go into recovery mode when I plug the phone into my MacBook. Its getting REALLY annoying now,

For example, I just intalled an app from cydia the phone then asked to be rebooted so I rebooted it, then plugged it in to charge it now it wont get out of recovery mode. Anyone ese have this?

The only thing that seems to fix it is running blackra1n again.

Is it a new 3GS? If its got the latest bootloader you can only do a tethered Jailbreak which means every time you turn it off and back on you have to Jailbreak again.

Hmm, I wonder why that is, this 3GS seems to be more hassle than what its actually worth lately, they dont seem to mention this info on anyother sites though even the iclarified where I downloaded Blackra1n from.
