I kinda wanna jailbreak my phone again, however my last one developed a fault with the speaker.

I'm a bit weary because if it goes faulty again and it's been jailbroken then I can't get it repaired under warranty?

this has been covered many many many times but the gist of it is..

If the phone is too damaged/faulty that you cannot forcibly restore it (via DFU mode) then there is no way apple can either; therefore they wont be able to tell if its jailbroken.

If its only slightly faulty you will be able to restore the phone to factory condition and they are none the wiser.

Hmmm thinking about it....

However last time I did it all, I noticed my phone was considerably slower?

if you dont use winterboard you shouldnt notice much slowdown, On a 3Gs its not noticeable,

if you do use winterboard just keep it simple.

So from what you say if you've for a 3GS then it shouldn't matter....even if I have Winterboard installed?

yep, on my 3gs I have winterboard running and dont have any slowdown at all...
