HI guys, done something daft - removed cydia from my phone!

It won't install via apt-get, so I need to install it via a .deb file or other method, anyone know where I can get the latest .deb or another way of installing it?

I thought about getting it via installer - but I don't get any packages showing on there at all!

Just checked the blackra1n site and cant see how to just get cydia?

I thought it was just a jailbreak solution? I'm aready jailbroke with a custome pwange file - dont fancy blackra1n as i think its tethered only with my 3GS

Yeah, if I go to the cydia page I can't find anyway of getting the app back on my phone.

Have you found what I'm looking for? If so could you be so kind to give me te link? I'm struggling to find it...

how to reinstall cydia without repawning?

Do either of these help, there's some 'noise' in the threads but there is some info in there.

One method seems to be if you still have the cydia package availabe (apt-get install cydia) and the other method if you have redownloaded cydia from the web and want to run that (dpkg -i /cydia.deb)

Thanks for that! I'd seen the second link, but the first one helped me by taking me to where the rest of .deb files were. From there i got a different deb file from the one I had - i was getting an error message (think it was a version issue).
Tried installing it, got a different error message - googled that, found another site which advised some other things to install and now its sorted

By 'working' I mean it has pointed me to some changes - but also came up with a load of repo errors
