Will Iphone Prices be coming down.. Dilemma and issues... need help..!

A while ago i paid top bucks for a 3GS, sealed brand new, was told its factory unlocked only to have been scammed, then double scammed as the guy who sold it claimed on insurance it was lost!!.

3GS Second hand they are going for between £380-£410 and given that i got burn't once i am not going to do that again!.

Problem: shalli just buy the 3GS on Saturday from the Apply store in Lakeside, or wait for a price drop.

If i wait, Apple may update the baseband and so i wont be able to unlock (MUST HAVE AN UNLOCK, AS I USE THREE). Secondly it seems they wont be budging too much on price til the 4G comes out. Now that's rumoured to be next year.. so shall i wait til then.

Need to make my mind up quick..... !

Given the recently published Orange pricing and the demand for the iPhone, I can't see any change for a long time to come.

Buy now!

You may already be too late! The newest unlock will only do a tethered jailbreak if its on the latest bootrom, see text below taken from iclarified:

"For those with a new iPhone 3GS (updated Bootrom), BlackRa1n only supports a tethered jailbreak. This means that once jailbroken you should not let your battery die. If it does die you will need to reconnect it to the computer and use BlackRa1n to boot it."

Sorry
