How to create a custom icon

I've created a shortcut on my homescreen to the login screen of my work email.

However on the homescreen there is a minature screengrab of the web page.

Is there any way I can replace that screen grab with my works logo?

I've had a search, but I can't find anything.

Thanks for all replies.

Re: How to create a custom icon

Not using any theme at the moment , just the normal stock icons.

I think I can create an icon in Photoshop (well, I'll give it a go) , but how do I assign it to the shortcut?

your best bet is to zoom the screen on the webpage so that it shows something you wont mind the icon being. then add the bookmark to the home screen. the icon will be made up of what you can see not the whole page.

i hope that makes sense. (just zoom the screen and add a bookmark and you will see what i mean.)

Re: How to create a custom icon

If you are jailbroken, SSH (or ipb) to User/Library/WebClips where you will find folders containing all the icons for the book-marks that you have. Copy icon to your comp to edit and then copy back to phone. Respring and it will be what you want. Just one thing to remember though, make sure you aren't using a theme when you get your book-marks as this can cause complications with other themes.

Re: How to create a custom icon

As said earlier, if the login screen has some interesting logo or text the zoom in till it fills the page and then create a shortcut to the springboard.
