Changing from a O2 pay monthly to a Orange PAYG

Hey all, I have had a 3g for awhile now using on my o2 pay monthly sim. Anyway, I've been given an upgrade so my girlfriend has now got my 3g, but I cannot get her Orange PAYG sim to work. The phone is on 3.0 jailbroken and ultrasnow installed, but when I put her sim in it asks me to connect to itunes, once I have done that itunes says the sim is not supported? How do I get around this?
I have been searching on here for my anwser for awhile now, cannot find any info. Can anyone help?

If you still have your pay monthly contract they will unlock the phone officially for free... check the o2 unlock thread for details.
