O2 Pay and Go - Free Web

Hi all,

I have just received a second hand iPhone 3GS and O2 Pay and Go sim from Lindssands and have a few questions. Note that I believe this is the Free web and Wifi sim that comes as standard with the iPhone for O2 PAYG.

1) How can I check if the sim does actually have the 12 months of free web and wifi ?

2) If I wanted to change the number on the SIM (assuming I have the PAC code for the number), do I just give O2 call and they will do it ?

3) If I change the number, does that affect my access to WiFi hotspots ?

4) Do I need to change any registration details for the card eg provide my name and address to O2 ?

Thanks for your help

Dial 4444, select option 2, then option 2 again

Call O2 customer services on 08705 678678 and ask to transfer your number. The transfer will take up to two working days (48 hours). Alternatively, you can fill in the online form

No, because it is based on your iPhones IMEI not number. See: iPhone 3GS O2 contract and PAYG discussion Part II

Not required, but I would advice you do in case you need to contact O2 about something in future.

Re: O2 Pay and Go - Free Web

If its a sealed sim in pack, it should say for iPhone 3G use and mention the free web/wifi on outside
