2g is too slow for YouTube. You need 3g or wifi.

Re: Trying to view youtube on 2g signal?? HELP PLZ

in works on 2g, but only if you have an Edge symbol (an E next to your operator logo)

The video will be very choppy however and low resolution.

There are no settings to adjust to get edge, you can't turn it on and off like 3g, if it's in an Edge covered area, it will automatically connect, so unfortunately, if its not worked for you yet, it's very unlikely to now

Re: Trying to view youtube on 2g signal?? HELP PLZ

yup as mentioned above if your not in a 3g covered area and there is no "edge" symbol then it basically means you are connecting over a gprs network/signal. Some videos however will play (not youtube) from other sources but tbh the load times are ludicrous over gprs, a 30 sec clip can take 5 minutes to view
