Unhappy iPhone probs, advice needed.

hi.
please help.

i went jogging with my iphone last thurs & when i got home the iphone screen froze, then went black.
i came to conclusion that it's moisture/sweat water damage because it won't switch on, there is absolutely no life in it what so ever.
i've tried the rice trick, i've tried the airing cupboard, i've tried forced reset, i think it's goosed.
the iphone is out of warranty, but i've read that if i send it back to them with water damage, apple would send me a refurb or a new one for £146.
the problem is, the iphone is unlocked/jailbroken & if i can't get into the iphone & apple can, they will see that it's been hacked.

i know it's a bit of a long rant, but i'm tearing my hair out.
i just want some advice if anyone can help.

thanks.

If you cant get into it, chances are Apple wont either. If they do it will probably be through a total restore which would clear the JB so no worries. Go for it, got nothing to lose

i'll have to phone them tomorrow as they are not open today.
just one other thing, apple won't ask me to send my iphone with the sim in will they? because i have my virgin sim in there (as it's unlocked) , & have never had an o2 sim.

thanks.
