Sync 2 iPhones to 1 PC

Both myself and my wife have now got an iPhone.

Each phone has different Contacts and Calendar.

I would like to be able to backup the Contacts and calendar files to my Dell PC.

It does not seem possible to do this with iTunes or MobileMe. I am currently running the free 60 day trial of MobileMe. Looks to me as if I would have to have 2 separate MobileMe accounts setup for each phone.

Is there any application available for a PC that would allow me to do this?

Re: Sync 2 iPhones to 1 PC

I have the same situation. Me and my wife have an Iphone with one computer. We use different apps & listen to different music.

So we set up 2 separate folders within Itunes.

Just before you start Itunes keep your finger on the alt button, bottom left corner of the keyboard.

You can dictate what apps sync to which phone within the same instance of Itunes & similarly sync each phone to different playlists, photos, movies email accounts , but not calanders (unless you have seperate calanders in outlook) or contacts

Cheers

I haven't tried, but presumably if you set up 2 different user accounts under Windows, each with their own contacts, calendar, and such, then you can install iTunes in each of those accounts, and each iPhone will hence synch with only that account's calendars.

However, you will have to switch the windows user account appropriately before connecting the iPhone.

Re: Sync 2 iPhones to 1 PC

As long as each phone has a different name eg "my phone" "wife's phone" then once they appear in Itunes you can alter the sync settings individually via the tabs that appear (info, movies, music etc)
