hi, is it possible to damage the iphone screen by removing screen protectors. ive got a switch easy one but dont want to put it on in case i need to take it off and start again, incase it peels some kind of coating off the screen. is this the case?

Most of the iPhone screen protectors are static cling rather than any form of sticky coating so cause no damage at all and leave no residue when removed.

the switch easy one i have has a side saying ADHESIVE SIDE. so thought it maybe some kind of glue.

I've read differing reports about the Switcheasy protectors and a cannot get a definitive answer regarding the presence of glue or not on them.

well just case anyone else is intrested in this, switchesy just told me its static,not glue on there protectors.

When i used my ones on my old 3G they come off easily with no residue  On a sidenote, the Rebel tends to push the protector off the sides/corners

The vast majority are static these days, so to remove without damaging the protector (for cleaning, repositioning etc) use a bit of sticky tape to grab it and lift

I bought the anti-glare protectors from the apple shop (£9.99) which have a much better feel and leave no marks at all...have now got a Belkin silicone cover for the iPhone too | |

i have the invisible shield front on mine atm can it be taken off and reapplied or is a once only as it just doesn't feel right ?
