Hello all,

Ive read the twitter threads, but cant find the answer.
I use twitter simply as a news feed to get info on people and things, but i really want push notification that doesnt send a splash screen to my iphone.
I want it to push the red circled number to the icon so i can see if there any new tweets. I use echofon at the mo, but that doesnt have push, does the paid version have what i want?
Does that make sense?
I already have im+ for msm but that shows a screen of the latest tweet and it looks a bit rubbish.

I think Tweetie has push, and I'm pretty sure the paid version of Echofon does as well.

Ta mate, but does it do that annoying splash screen on the iphone ?
I dont want that as i need to see my front screen.

Could you not turn of the notifications for the app in the phone settings?

Just to let all who use Echofon. That an update this morning i got now allows for Push Notifications.

Works well so far too.
