GPS signal strength/info app?

Does anyone know if there is an app (dedicated or just part of something else) which shows GPS signal strength and satellite info?

Re: GPS signal strength/info app?

I had problems with my iPhone GPS. The only free GPS app I know of is MotionXGPS Sport Lite. By using this I was able to work out that my iPhone was gathering no GPS signal at all.

Re: GPS signal strength/info app?

I would also like to know if there is any app that has a GPS Sky view with signal strengths for all the satellites.
It would help me diagnose the GPS on my iPhone that seems completely dead (the compass is also dead)

Most other GPS-receivers have these, see this example from a Garmin Oregon:

I suspect that the iPhones hardware doesn't allow for these signal strength bars sine neither MotionX or Tomtom have it. And Tomtom have it on all other devices, stand alone, Windows Mobile etc.
