I have read a few app threads on here. but they all seem to discuss different topics.

Had a thought of making a thread (maybe stickying it) to show and describe all the MUST HAVE apps. Free or Paid for.

The way I thought it would work is as follows:

Youtube - Iphone version of youtube.com - (free)
Maps - Connects to Google Maps - (free)
Notes - Iphone version of a notepad - (free)

etc etc. So all of the entries in this thread have relevent information in a unifrom way - making them easy to browse through.

Keep it to apps that are MUST HAVES (in your opinion), not a kewl game that youve found and think it will be fun a few times round, but realistically those that will get deleted/not used again pretty soon.

If people want, I coud try and keep the OP update so there is a dedicated list with all in there.

Facebook - Again, used many times a day to corespond with friends. (free)
PS3 iTrophies - great app for PS3 gamers (£1.19)

Of the weather App? That's it there it changes the weather icon and puts the weather in the status bar. After you install it just tick it in winterboard and then go into settings and there will be a setting for the weather app.

Oh just remembered of another one. 5 row QWERTY. You can find everything about it here:

Also Talking Alerts, type that into Cydia and you get a really nice sms, mms and email alert.

Tick it in winterboard and then go to settings and choose Horn as your text alert.

Its sync's automatically. (its more than a trophy app by the way)

lol At least my posts have information about the Apps, what they do and how to get them.

Your OP has 3 default Apps that come with the phone and you couldn't delete them if you wanted to.

As you say you are going to maintain the OP with a list of Apps so you can...or not list the ones I mentioned.

I asked in the OP for the information to be laid out in a particular way, that everyone else seems to be fine with, apart from you. i didnt ask for info about apps and links to data, just name - description - price.
the reason i picked the ones in the OP were for exactly that reasons. they were MUST HAVE apps, chosen by apple.

If id of seen an app section, I wouldnt of posted this somewhere else would I. obviously. When a mod gets to it, they will move it into the relevant area. and seeing as there isnt a thread the same as this, id say it was not poor.
