Hi,
is there an app out there that will allow me to open/close applications on my desktop pc?
Not really after remote access application to fully control the pc remotly. Just be able to open and close a single application.

I use one called snatch, Works really well has different screens like a mouse and keyboard and another you can pin applicatitions to the top allowing you to start them.

Best 79p I've spent in a while - iPhone : Mobile Air Mouse - can set up 4 custom buttons, use with unlimited number of PCs (or Macs), and use air mouse, touchpad and full iphone keyboard.

Yes, if you set up the custom buttons. There are even remote desktop apps, so you can login to the pc and do what you like to it.
