Can 2 iphones share apps?

Hello,

I'm about to give my wife my 2G and get myself a 3GS. If she gets her own iTunes account will we be able to share apps on the same computer (Mac) or should we share an iTunes account?
If we have to share will we be able to sync different music etc?

You can sync the same apps if you're signed in under the same iTunes account. This is what me and my Mrs' do.

And you can still sync different music as each iPhone is treated differently within iTunes. I personally have an iPhone playlist setup for each iPhone and tell it to sync only with that. I can then add and remove music from that one playlist and it's automatically added/removed on the next sync.

Re: Can 2 iphones share apps?

I think you can have 5 ipods/iphones signed to the same account and using the same apps.

You can have as many devices as you like synced to itunes. I think your getting confused with the number of computers authorised on an account. You can only have your itunes account authorised on 5 different computers.

To be fair, he never said 'Sync' he said 'signed' and seemed to make exactly the same point as you have done.
