Just looked this up another 'augmented reality' app showing local information.... looks ok and is free, may try to downlaod later and see if there is anything in my local area.

Wow this is great! There are a whole host of different "layars" you can use. Wikipedia, nearby tweeters, nearby food and drink etc. Not been able to give it a decent go yet as I'm stuck in the office but even here it gives a decent indication of what it can do.

Very cool and pretty impressive, good integration with Google and wikipedia etc make it much more useful than I expected it to be. But while impressive, I can't say I am completey convinced how useful the AR actually is and standard google maps is easier to use.
