Fring on Iphone 3GS

Has anybody used Fring on Iphone? What's your experience?

And which network provider do you use with it?

I am not a big Skype user so went for this (rather than IM+) because it is free. I also figure that Skype will eventually update its own app with permanent push (esp. now eBay aren't holding it back) so thought it would be a waste of money to pay for a temporary alternative.

Generally, I only use it for chat messaging but worked well for voice too* (on the one occasion I tried it).

The only downside is that you have to remember to open the app a couple of times a day to ensure that you will get your push messages (I think that is still the case). Obviously it would be nice to never have to open it but it is no big deal for me.

* - I have an unlocked (not Jailbroken) phone so do not have to suffer provider restrictions.
