I am buying an iPhone from a friend Unlocked with ZiPhone.
I have heard that the warranty is void if unlocked with ZiPhone.
Now, I have a broken iPod docking station that will kill an iPod if put it in, disabling it from turning the iPod on, so if i do that with my iPhone will I be able to send it back for repairs no questions asked?

There will be many questions asked and you will most likely be sent packing if you go in with an unlocked iphone. The warranty is invaildated when you unlock, ok you can reset it to factory but when you unlock you change the baseloader which isnt reset when you restore so they will know you have unlocked it.
Im in the same boat, i have a broken iphone that i cant repair because i cant explain how i know its broken without admitting that its been unlocked. There are reapir shopa around that can fix it for you at a price, im sending mine to one soon for a quote.
