ive got a iwant charger that i got with my ipod
but when i connect it to it it says something along the lines of this charger wasnt made for the iphone
dont really wanna spend alot on this
any ideas appricated

My advice, just get a normal standard apple charger, like this;

I have two, one for my ipod and one for my iPhone and both work with either device

yes thats what i get the one on the right
so is that charger an genuine apple iphone 3gs charger

The charger I linked to is a genuine Apple charger, but it's not a specific Iphone 3GS charger (there isn't a specfic charger for iphone's or ipods - both mine are the same)

as long as it charges i wouldnt worry ive got an ipod enabled dvd player surround sound system it comes up with that everytime i plug my phone in but charges fine and plays fine if its not working get the above if it is just click dismiss when you plug it in simple
