I need to get another mains powered charger for my 3GS, looked at Apple who want £36 for the same as the one that comes in the box thats a ridiculous price, any other options, the ones on play or amazon seem to be 3g/s incompatible

I bought this one last week after having the same problem as you. Either stupid prices for a genuine Apple charger or not compatible with the 3GS.

Works perfectly but turned up in black instead of white. Colour didnt bother me though.

If you travel abroad a bit, it would be worth looking at the Belkin USB travel charger. Costs around £6 and has different ends for the US and Europe. Combine that with a USB iPod cable and you're laughing in every county.

I go this the other day and works perfectly, looks good too with a blue light on the front when charging
