Hello,

I just got a case for my 3GS which goes around the back and front of the phone and attaches itself with a magnet at the top end of the phone near the camera.
Obviously this will affect the compass, my question is can this do any long term damage?

Does anyone know if the magnet in the case will damage the compass?

Im not sure a magnet will effect an electronic compass?

I'd say it'll be fine... may be wrong though!
