Speck Case Owners

Sorry for starting a new thread but I think this would have got lost in the Case thread.

I got a new Speck CandyShell from amazon. Now on delivery it looks like the box has been stamped on and there were 2 large cracks on the back.
So I'm getting it replaced but thought I would try t on. The case fits well and looks good but on removing it following the instructions I managed to create another crack and break the bit along the top of the power plug.

My question is is this usual are they brittle or do you have to be very careful with them? It's kinda put me off.

I cracked mine also getting the iphone out of it. I still use the case tho as it still does the job.

SO overall i don't think the case is as hard as people may think. Or i'm just heavy handed.

Re: Speck Case Owners

A bit off putting for a protective case that will crack! But it does look so good.

Humm a tad offputting, especially as it's a nice looking case and seems to add more protection than the reveal will. May wait for my Speck delivery but not use it till I see the reveal so I can send it back if needs be.
