How much could I sell White 16GB iPad 2 for? Mint condition, boxed. Warranty runs out at the end of this month but can be extended

I sold mine to a friend for £240 with a case.

You are better off selling in this way as if you sold on say ebay, the sale price maybe £250 but ebay and Paypal fees would be £31 resulting in a net sale of £219.

I got £245 for my 16gb black from car phone warehouse on Friday. Just took it in and they put the money on my debit card, easy.

I just sold a 16gb iPad 1 for £220 so surely you can get a bit more? I suppose the 289 refurbished from apple hasn't helped the resale price.

They are available new for £329 and refurbished for £289 direct from Apple. Both include warranty and Apple refurbs are very good (they change the chassis and any damaged parts, so as new visually at least). Therefore, the refurb price should really set the ceiling for all other iPad 2's.

However, not everyone keeps abreast of changes in price, therefore I would strike while the iron is hot. As the longer you wait, the more people will have become aware of the new pricing on them.

I sold mine for £275 however with PayPal fees and eBay listing and final value fees plus postage it takes it down to about £220.

Was this based on u upgrading to the new version? I can't find any mention of them offering a buy service on their website.

Nope. No catches. They took it off me and put £245 pounds on my visa debt card and I walked down the road to Currys and purchased a new iPad. Granted the £245 will probably take a few days to reach my account. I have a feeling this offer won't last for long though. Just call your local branch, that's what I did.
