midnight launch for iPad

my local tesco are doing it but only 16gb and very limited only 6

is anyone else doing a midnight launch by the way I'm in sheffield

It says it's in 250 stores and then ever so helpfully doesn't mention anywhere which 250 stores!. Anyone know which ones are doing this?.

Where did you hear about the midnight launch? I just tried to call my local Tesco Extra but the customer services hotline is closed. Should I risk it and head over there?

Just phoned my local tesco extra, told me they had them in stock for midnight launch. No one queuing just yet, but I will be in a minute. Dont want to say which one and end up in a big queue.

It's a bit naff, you would think if other places were doing midnight launches then Apple Stores would too.

i went to superstore and asked staff but only 16gb

I tried to ring Surrey Quays and no one is picking up the phone. Not sure whether to risk it or not.

I'm in tesco xtra at cumbernauld. First and only one in the queue, the guy thats dealing with it won't be here till midnight. No one knows much more than that. Battery running low might need to wait till I get home and give you an update from my new ipad.

They have about 37 ipads all in upto 32G. They can't sell them till 1 minute past midnight, i'll also be getting my pic taken as will all others that are first in each queue. Said it would be for internal use only, hope so don't want to be in the local paper. Still only me here, bored oot me t*ts already, don't how they can queue for days.

Just got a white 16gb 4g. Gallions reach tesco. They had 30. There were only 5 of us in the queue.
